Melvin F. O'Brien is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. He concentrates his practice in the areas of civil litigation, health care law, toxic tort law, product liability law, insurance coverage litigation, food and beverage industry, and transportation law, with a particular emphasis in personal injury litigation.
Mr. O'Brien is a member of the American, West Virginia, and Ohio Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia, and United States District Court for the Southern District of West Virginia. He is also a member of the Defense Research Institute, Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia, West Virginia Health Care Association, and Ohio Association of Civil Trial Attorneys.
Mr. O'Brien graduated from Bowling Green State University in 1988 with a B.S.B.A. in Business Administration. He received his J.D. from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law in 1994 cum laude.
Mr. O'Brien was an Executive Editor of the Cleveland State University Journal of Law & Health, 1993-1994. |
