Marcelle M. Theis is a shareholder of Dickie, McCamey & Chilcote, P.C. and an elected member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She concentrates her practice in the area of Medical Malpractice.
Ms. Theis is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association - Civil Litigation Committee and Pennsylvania Bar Association. She is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania courts, United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit. She is also a member of the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of American Association of Nurse Attorneys.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Theis worked in the health care field particularly in the area of surgical nursing.
Ms. Theis graduated cum laude from Chatham College in 1982 with a B.A. in Political Science and Philosophy. She received her J.D. from University of Pittsburgh in 1987. She also is a 1971 graduate of the Washington Hospital School of Nursing and practiced in the area of surgical nursing for eleven years.
Ms. Theis is frequently a guest speaker/panelist at hospital and risk management seminars. She is also a member of the Capital Campaign Committee, University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing and Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, Children’s Challenge. |
